- Data collection – Client / patient and clinician – What, why and how
2.1. What
Client / patient – If you are client / patient with us, we collect some personal information which include date, time of booking, name, date of birth, gender, contact details including address, your registered general practitioner, your covering insurance details.
Clinician / specialist – If you are collaborating with us as clinician / specialist, we do collect date, time of you registering with BMACS, name, date of birth, gender, contact details (which may include contact of your secretory, practice or assistant), your qualifications, addresses of places you are working and marketing key words, your booking calendar as per mutual agreement
2.2. Why
Client / patient – To be able to provide you the required healthcare / Aesthetics services we need to collect some personal information about you and store in our data base. The reason for collection of data is for us to be able to connect you to most appropriate specialist to provide best possible care for your clinical and aesthetics requirement. Your data is shared with the specialist you are going to see so it’s likely that you might be contacted directly. To improve care quality and service we might contact you for feedback. We might use the data for marketing purposes.
Clinician / specialist – Its important for us to collect the above stated data so we can connect the clients/ patients to you by providing them necessary information about the services or treatments you provide, locations you provide services from, collect feedback/reviews and to provide customer service to clients / patients. BMACS – We collect the data on the phone, online registration/ booking forms or onsite manual forms.
- Duration the data is stored with us
We store your data until reasonably required / until you have contract with us / 6 years unless you request us to discard it.
- Where we store your data
We store your data locally on our server and can also be on third party servers. We take reasonable steps to make sure your collected stored data is kept in accordance with our privacy policy which is as per UK data protection legislation. We do not share your personal details in public unless we agreed in advance for marketing purposes. We anonymise personal data in case we need to use it for statistical reason for research / study purposes.
We share your data with some other companies to provide service more efficiently which include data base management, internet hosting (marketing purposes) and payment processing but we have contracts with them as per privacy and data protection UK laws.
