Mint Thread Treatment
Mint Thread or Thread Lifting is the modern, non-surgical procedure to benefit with face retightening to look younger. This treatment aids in creating anticipated facial contour and lift.
What is the procedure of Thread Lift?
The Thread Lift procedure use biodegradable thread which are polylactic acid resorbable suture (thread), and moulded cones made of lactide / glycolide.
This thread acts as a support under the surface of the skin to lift sagging skin tissue. The cones hold the suture in place. The constituents of the suture and cones are totally reabsorbed by the body and encourage the body’s production of collagen with time, to replace depleted facial volume, which diminishes with age and makes you look younger. Local anaesthetic is injected on to the face before the procedure. Once the area is numb, the doctor injects the Thread Lift suture (thread) under the skin using a fine needle. After inserting the suture (thread), the doctor applies slight pressure on the treated area to reshape the surface of the skin and achieve the immediate lift.
